This page explains what is saved in sheet data and the compatibility of each export format.
Main Items That Are Saved
In this app, the following information is saved as sheet data.
- Cell contents (text and formulas)
- Merged cell information
- Cell formatting (text color, background color, text alignment, font size)
- Row heights and column widths
- Frozen rows and frozen columns
- Grid line color and grid line thickness
- Attached images (image cells)
How Merged Cells Are Handled
- Merged states are saved and remain intact when the sheet is opened again.
- When cells are merged, the top-left cell is treated as the base cell.
- Merged cells may be unmerged by actions such as clearing a range or deleting cells.
How Formatting Is Handled
- The formatting of each cell is saved and restored when the sheet is displayed again.
- Formatting applied all at once with range formatting is also saved.
- The amount of formatting that is reproduced depends on the export format.
How Attached Images Are Handled
- The image data of image cells is saved within the sheet.
- The image display mode (Fit/Fill) is also saved.
- Depending on the specifications of the destination app, the appearance may not match exactly.
Compatibility Overview
- CSV: Data-focused (formatting and images are not supported)
- PDF / Image: Appearance-focused
- XLSX: Spreadsheet-compatible (includes formatting, merged cells, and images; PRO only)
Additional Notes
- For important sheets, it is a good idea to save both PDF and XLSX depending on your needs.
